Purpose:


Join Module 2 of the J-Global Mini MBA, "Mission and Vision," to enhance your professional identity and strategic foresight. This module is tailored to develop your personal brand and mission, cultivate a growth mindset, and integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals into a compelling vision for sustainable business practices. Whether you're just beginning or continuing your journey in our flexible five-month Mini-MBA program, this module offers valuable insights and skills applicable to both Japanese and global business environments. (You don't need to study previous modules first)



This is part of a six month Mini-MBA program which you can join anytime, in any order, and includes a mix of learning activities.



Learning Objectives:


2.1 Fostering an Attractive Personal Brand and Corporate Mission (Weeks 1 & 2)

  • Personal Brand Development: Learn to understand and articulate your personal brand and mission, distinguishing yourself in the professional world.

  • Insightful Self-Reflection: Engage in a 360° Survey to gain deep insights into your personal strengths and areas for growth, enhancing your self-awareness.

  • Growth Mindset and Contribution: Build a growth mindset, focusing on leveraging your strengths to contribute effectively to your corporate mission.

2.2 Positive Vision and Sustainability Goals in an ESG-Conscious Organization (Weeks 3 & 4)

  • Visionary Leadership: Develop the skill to create and communicate a compelling and forward-thinking vision for yourself and your organization.

  • ESG Goal Integration: Understand and apply ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles in formulating sustainable business strategies.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Learn to align ESG sustainability goals among diverse stakeholders, fostering a cohesive and ethical business environment.


By completing this module, you will be well-equipped with the knowledge and skills to excel in both Japanese and international business settings, preparing you for a dynamic and sustainable future in business leadership.

Flexible learning order is possible.


1) You don't have to study from Module 1 to 6 in order. For example, if you start the program in module 2, and catch up with module 1 later.

2) New groups start every few months in the afternoons and evenings, so if you miss any class, you can make it up in a different group (different time of day, or different time of year).


Learning Workshops are 60-minute interactive lectures and discussions for understanding the topic. Practice Labs are 60-minute sessions for the members to practice the activities in case studies and related role-plays/simulations.
