Purpose:
Understand key differences and closeness of France with Japan - and discuss how to do diverse teamwork between the two countries - mixing the best of both.
Speaker Profiles
Makiko Kuramoto, Ph.D is a Japanese psychologist. She will share insights from her personal experience and cultural psychology—on how to communicate successfully across cultures and grow together. She'll touch on respect, openness, clear communication, and the importance of staying curious and using humour.
Isabelle Rodier is a French HR Project Leader currently living in Japan. She will explain some of the cultural differences between France and Japan and share her experience.
Recommended Participants:
• French and Japanese business people who work with or love each other's countries. Other nationalities interested in learning more about France.
Learning Objectives:
Identify key cultural similarities and differences between France and Japan to enhance mutual understanding and collaboration in diverse teams.
Develop effective cross-cultural communication strategies, drawing on psychological insights and real-world experiences from French and Japanese professionals.

Language Guidance:
The webinar will be conducted in English, as it serves as a neutral and common language between French and Japanese participants, and accommodates other international attendees. Bilingual facilitator Jon Lynch will provide some guidance in Japanese as needed.
