Language Requirements

  • This program has bilingual Japanese and English slides to accommodate a diverse range of participants. It is mostly delivered in spoken English so we recommend participants to have at least high-beginner to lower-intermediate English skills (above TOEIC 500).

The founder of Coach Tokyo and author of articles and a book on the topics of coaching and emotional intelligence, Rob Russell has lived and worked in Japan for twenty-five years and has more than 1000 hours of experience as a certified professional coach and trained counsellor. In addition, he uses his knowledge of psychology and coaching techniques in the classes and seminars he has developed for a wide range of organizations including the British Chamber of Commerce, Nissan & Aoyama University. For the past 20 years, he has also helped to prepare Foreign Ministry and other government employees for their postings to embassies, missions and universities abroad.
