Hold a simulated "town hall" meeting in which participants have different values, goals and communication styles. Discuss what kind of conflicts or misunderstandings happen, and how to overcome them.
Learn and practice facilitation and conflict resolution skills
Hold the meeting again and see if more positive outcome scan be reached.

What You Will Learn

Hold a simulated " problem solving" meeting in which a global team of engineers and sales people deal with a serious customer issue. What kind of issues happened because of different cultural working styles?
Discuss typical gaps in Japanese and other countries working styles you have expereinced. What are the impacts, causes and ways to overcome the gaps?
Hod a follow-up simulated meeting in which the same global team agrees on how to combine their diverse strengths in a new more collaborative working style.
